So my Dad has like PTSD Bc you can’t wake him up woke out him freaking out, we’ve tried so many ways, but there is like no freaking way! So there has become an unspoken rule of ‘Dont wake up dad’

But we still have hilarious stories of waking him up.

So my little brother had a nightmare and wanted to sleep in my parents room. So he took his pillow and walked into their room, and he didn’t want to wake my parents up so he threw his pillow upon the bed and started crawling on up on it. Well that woke my mom up and she gasped and then realized it was him, but her gasp woke my dad up and he flipped out so bad like was screaming and going to attack my little brother he was all like WHO ARE YOU GET OFF MY BED GET OUT WHO ARE YOU and my dad was trying to hit him and everything so my mom grabbed my little brother and held him and calmed my dad down and my little brother was scarred for life.

I mean now we laugh at it Because it’s hilarious, but at the time I think he started crying.

Today my mom to me to wake up my dad. The basic rule of our household is not to wake Dad up no matter what, but because I’m a good child I had a friend over I was like I’m not gonna make a big deal about waking up so I went in his room and I looked at him. His hand was sticking out from under his pillow as his head was laying on his arm. He like twitched his hand for a second so in my mind was the best way to wake him up is to quickly hit his hand then jump against the wall and hope for the best. So I gathered up the courage and I reached out and this boy woke up! And he yelled in a panicked way and so I screamed back and jumped against the wall. He stopped and I was like against the wall unsure of what to do, and he just looked at me until it registered and then he was like “What’s wrong.”
I just said “Dinner is ready…. breakfast! breakfast is ready!” And I ran out awkwardly
